Disagree. The scene was awesome. He's fighting against a zombie who cannot die from heart piercings or brain piercings. The crumbling tower, dragon over head breathing fire... it was very satisfying.

And slightly metal - although I'm trying to work out how Qyburn can make better zombies that the Night King

tbf the night king just fingered young boys, Qyburn at least spent some time in his playroom

lol @ dragon fire causing buildings to explode and towers being "cut" down.

On the other hand, it doesn't appear that much changed since I gave up part way through book one.

To me it became like that after two seasons. Just the usual. In-n-out, politics and lots of 'just wait, soon the dragon, mega ultimate warz' will come!
Nothing I saw as a great episode never ever happen in the third season. Just a humongous suxxors feast of nothing happening.

Haven't seen it yet (Wednesday), but I've looked at spoilers - looks bad, lazy writing too.

I actually liked the last episode.

I think they just rushed the final two seasons to get there so it didn't feel particularly satisfying.

OK, have seen the episode (a day early), I don't think it was *bad* more that they needed a season to balance everything out, perhaps two. Felt very rushed.

Also, a lot of inconsistencies.
