It tracks what modules are loaded when you run it and puts it into a list that you can use with "make localmodconfig". If you put it into a cronjob, after a little while you should end up with a list of all the modules you use.
Didn't know where else to post this in the forums, so feel free to move it admins if you want. I figured it would be useful for a lot of people here. :)

To clarify, this tool does nothing that local{yes,mod}config doesn't already offer, it just keeps track of all devices so they aren't forgotten when they are unplugged while building the kernel.
