Hello. I went through the process of upgrading from the 13.0 profile to the 17.0 profile.

Did the emerge -e @world.

Now my printer isn't working. Hardware is good. This is a dual boot system with Windows 7. Printer works fine over there. Printer is connected directly to the computer with a USB cord. No networking or wireless involved.

When printing a test page I get this message in the CUPS interface:

Code:
processing since
Sat 30 Dec 2017 06:54:16 AM MST
"Waiting for printer to become available."

Here is the CUPS error log.

This is everything from today when I powered up the computer. There was still a job in the queue from last time I was testing this. I canceled it and tried another test.

If I'm reading this correctly, it's at line 1964 where I canceled the old job. Then started up a new test.

Thanks much.
