^ This, nobody thinks he shouldn't be punished to the fullest extent of NZ law.

The only thing really amazing is how quickly the NZ government is going full authoritarian. _________________

No, the left is just violent most of the time. Did anyone here actually say the left is always violent? _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.

I've read his manifesto, I saw the entire archived 8chan thread the killer posted. He specifically wanted people arguing about his attack, he wanted the media and governments to start censoring speech online to further push the culture war towards violence. The reason I didn't post anything on this is because I don't want to do the killer's bidding!
Good job, gentooP4, you're doing exactly what the killer wanted. _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

Your "Far Right" definition is hilarious, when one considers the shooter stated he was a fan of the totalitarian commies in China.
Maybe your definition of far right is different than mine. _________________ The Future Ain't What It Used To Be

You'll love this. The New Zealand government, while arresting people who download or have a copy of the manifesto, are now selling it for $102.20.
Christchurch attacks - press releases
Click on "Exemption info form The Great Replacement". A document will download.
It says "to proceed with a formal application, please note that this will incur a fee of $102.20."
Schizophrenics are more consistent than the NZ lolgov.
Also, all Kiwis : Change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 to get around your government's mass censorship of the Internet. For some telcoms, forcing ipv4 instead of 6 will work fine. _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

Maybe your definition of far right is different than mine. | Somewhat understandable. According to sources many people rely on, anything bad that happens is "far right." Based on usage, that phrase appears to be the outrageaholic version of "far out."
@Muso
lol
Talk about typical leftist authoritarianism. Manufacturing victimless crimes with the the trifecta: if it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
I don't think China is that efficient, thought probably still more brutal. _________________ Those who know what's best for us must rise and save us from ourselves. |

Yes, a better alternative would be to bury our heads in the sand and say there were good people on both sides. EVERYONE from the public to the government is talking about this and so they should. If we had talked about this hate sooner it may have been averted. Some positive action has come from the talks - stricter gun control and censoring of hate speech. Our country, our laws and the vast majority of NZ'er are 100% behind these responses from both sides of the political spectrum.

Notice how it quickly it descends into censorship, accusations of authoritarian governments and conspiracies. No attempts to condemn it like they would if it was something as simple as a punch in the face.

We haven't previously censored hate speech so there goes that reason. I think it's more likely he was radicalised by hanging out with a bunch of right ring foamers on internet forums feeding his bias and egging him on. Oh, any providing click bait right wing opinion pieces like you just have. |

Sure you haven't. Count Dankula was arrested for a joke in your country.
Dystopian authoritarianism is not a worthy goal. Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 should not be goals, but you seem to be cheering it on. _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

No, I mean when I looked at your location 10 minutes ago it said UK.

Of course you aren't. You look at Fahrenheit 451 as an instruction manual. _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

I've never looked at or heard of Fahrenheit 451, let alone used it as an "instruction manual" |

it's about censorship for "the greater good", something you're advocating right now. _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

If it averts atrocities like this then I'm all for it. Sometimes you need to tackle the bigger issues. We could sit back and do nothing like they do in the USA.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shitposting is something you are advocating right now.
