Hello 'fedeliallalinea'

Where do you get this information ?
Looking to https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/net-proxy/squid show there is only version 3.5.27-r1 or 3.5.28 available for Gentoo. How can I install squid-4.x.x?
Looking at https://wiki.squid-cache.org/SquidFaq/CompilingSquid does not mention Gentoo.

So squid seems to be also wobbly.

What is interesting with Gentoo Linux is that we must be more nearby the reality of software problems. I would probably never be aware of that things if I would had stay with binary packaged distribution.

Thanks for the information.
