|
|
I started /etc/init.d/libvirtd as su and tried to edit my windows10 xml via:
Code: | virsh edit windows10 |
Then I made my changes in vi and did a :wq and it exited with:
Code: | Domain windows10 XML configuration edited. |
If I then look in /etc/libvirt/qemu/windows10.xml it did not safe my changes... the file has not changed at all.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong? _________________ -=human without Windows®=-

It doesn't save while machine is running. I assume after you stop the VM, the configuration will update itself. |

Thanks it works now. If I remember correctly my vm was not running, just the service libvirtd was running. Anyway, it works now, but I also reinstalled the whole package and reworked my configs. _________________ -=human without Windows®=-
