Today, for the first time, I was enabling zswap in my 4.14.83 sys-kernel/gentoo-sources kernel, and on reboot I was greeted with that message in the title. Luckily the good folks at NixOS were already on it:
|[...]to fix this error, we need to compile zbud into kernel too[...] |
So I went back into the kernel, enabled zbud, rebuilt and rebooted, and everything has been hunky-dory since.
