Hi,

Recently while i was building chromium this message showed up and the build failed :

"C:\src\depot_tools\ninja.exe" -C out/Default chrome

--plugin_out: protoc-gen-plugin: Plugin failed with status code 2.
Protoc has returned non-zero status: 1

Do anyone know what is the cause of this issue and its solution?

Thanks

You try to compile chromium in Windows?
If yes I doubt that the gentoo forums is correct place to ask what's wrong

While searching the net I found this: W10 and Chromium. There were times when MS tried to dictate web development, ignoring web standards, in quest to make IE the preferred browser. This war is over?

Of all of the places to get help with Windows 10, why choose the Gentoo forums?
