I had to re-connect my bluetooth mouse recently. I did it via Gnome Settings (as usual). I found out that the mouse has to be re-connected every time it disconnects (either I power it down, or it goes to power-saving, or I reboot my laptop).
When I examined /var/lib/bluetooth/bt-adapter-mac/bt-mouse-mac/info file, I noticed that there were no [LinkKey] section there. For some reason, the session key was not stored and re-esablishing a bt session doesn't happen.
I used the recipe in https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2390542 to pair my mouse via cli. This worked and the LinkKey is stored
[LinkKey]
Key=E266EXXXXF3FC17B07FD96XXXX959126
Type=4
PINLength=0
Should I report a bug? Which package? gnome-settings? |
