Hu is right, but is you want enable these use flag use /etc/portage/profile/package.use.mask and try to apply the patches proposed in the relative bugs. _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

Perhaps a patch will remedy this, better use local libs than redundantly build more. |

Yes, unbundling is better when it works. In this case, the Gentoo maintainers believe it doesn't work. I suggest you override their safety check, fix what breaks when using the unbundled libraries, and file a bug to have them remove the lockout. |
