Moved from Installing Gentoo to Off the Wall, since this seems like a better fit.
I do wonder if there be gladiators there... _________________ Kind regards,

You might remember me from Gentoo projects such as Forums, LXQt, Qt, and Wine. |

This is my answer to the vid....
"
Gentoo as a platform or framework on the Linux Kernel an is a more Efficient, Robust, Flexible & Secure Operating System, orientated to efficiency & Security; overall better than any Linux desto out there period; apart from LFS.....(If you know what your doing).
The Kernel itself is another kettle of fish.... - Might i add, runs "Everything" = The infrastructure, water, heating, communications, Coal/Nuclear, Electricity.... you name it, I digress....
Reasons: Due to the package manager "<emerge> & it's correlating directories associated to <portage>, which in-actuality is a secondary package manager"...... Which allows you to build source code from scratch within your environment; with out doing it manually......
The reason Gentoo has been adopted by google.... is due to how good it is..... & Microsoft is now assimilating Ubuntu.....
*** <The real problem is how do we stop them from indirectly imposing legislation on open source!> ***
To be specific, the "<Linux Kernel>" itself - That is the question
