Moved from Portage & Programming to Unsupported Software. FreeCAD isn't in the main Portage tree so it fits better here.

It seems a coin repository problem, one possible solution is rename ebuild in coin-4.0.0a_pre20181102.ebuild and change line

i cant try your solution.
i have downloadet the AppImage from FreeCad. works perfectly.
a nice list here:

i hope that the maker of gentoo bring FreeCad back to portage. this tool has potential.
