|
|
Hi, ALL,
As far as I understand, I need to install os-prober before running "grub-install" in order to run a dual-boot. However, I have couple of questions:
According to this I need both os-prober and ntfs3g in order to boot Windows.
So I will need to install those 2 and then run grub-install, which will see the os-prober installation? And the install script will create a configuration to boot both systems, correct?
Also, it looks like the os-prober depends on the fuse. Does this mean that I have to do "modprobe fuse" prior to running grub-install?
Thank you. |

Or https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/GRUB2/Chainloading
I use grub1 so I don't keep up with 2, but I do use chainloading and it's always worked. _________________ PRIME x570-pro, 3700x, 6.1 zen kernel
