Hi all - I'm getting these messages in my system log:

Quote:
Oct 3 09:24:01 gandalf dbus-daemon[1651]: [system] Connection ":1.26" is not allowed to add more match rules (increase limits in configuration file if required; max_match_rules_per_connection=2048)

they come in batches like the above every so often

I wonder what are these, does it make sense to increase limits, and if so, how do I do that?

thanks ...

You can get more information about this connection ( :1.26 ) :
Code:

dbus-send --system --dest=org.freedesktop.DBus --print-reply /org/freedesktop/DBus org.freedesktop.DBus.GetConnectionCredentials string::1.26

Also, there's a bug open in RedHad boards and it looks like it has an workaround posted by Paweł

You could try it and let us know if it does the trick.
