Almost all of under Trump's watch? In what fucking parallel universe? Trump hasn't even been in office two years. We've been engaged in Yemen for over eight. That's where Obama assinated his US citizen, along with the guy's child, with a fucking Predator drone. Search these forums for me talking about Obama's secret wars. Maybe you don't remember, since it's been going on since you were still a kid basically.

The saudi coalition started milliary action 3 years ago with US support. What was Obamas war is now Trump's war
And Barry Soweto had US troops and Predator drones in Yemen years before that. He was ordering the assassination of US citizens in Yemen as far back as 2011. Jeez. You commies not only suck at economics, your knowledge of history is just as lacking.

And since the saudi lead us backed fighting started, some estimates have the death toll around 50,000, with famine currently putting 8 million people in danger of starvation.

And Trump does nothing!

And since Starbucks started half-skim vanilla latte, spacecraft have left the solar system, but that doesn't mean I give a flying fuck.

It’s not a resource if you don’t use it.

Oil will be obsolete soon. Better to turn it into wealth before that happens.

Fair enough argument. But isn’t it more likely that the price of oil will increase as supply diminishes? Even if we eliminate oil from energy uses, won’t we still need it for plastics?

They've been saying that for 80 years, and supply keeps increasing instead of decreasing.

Yea, you are probably right, supply will just keep increasing forever.

To be fair, they have been saying that for decades, and consistently been wrong. Just like the idiots who keep saying that we are going to run out of food, they fail to account for advances in technology.

Seems to me that relatively minimal progress has been made on storing renewable energy. I support a moonshot program to close the gap (for national security reasons). When fossil fuels become unsustainable, we'll adapt to whatever exists at the time. Naturally most people would prefer to remain in their current comfort zone, so having to "ration" consumption is going to be unpopular. Price fluctuations on fossil fuel energy hasn't seemed to "move the needle" on solutions, so it may require running out (virtually if no literally) before any meaningful change happens.

<Puts sensible hat on>

Now that another person (Manafort) close to Trump has agreed to help the investigation, and considering there has been several people agreeing to cooperate, does this mean that there is something to find?

I don't know anything about the case the FBI are collating but surely you can't bargain if you have nothing to bargain with? I know it's all purely speculation but so many people now agreeing to cooperate with the investigation and it's been going on for so long that they must have something otherwise they would have closed it down ages ago.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/statement-press-secretary-34/

Quote:
At the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency, the President has directed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to provide for the immediate declassification of the following materials: (1) pages 10-12 and 17-34 of the June 2017 application to the FISA court in the matter of Carter W. Page; (2) all FBI reports of interviews with Bruce G. Ohr prepared in connection with the Russia investigation; and (3) all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all Carter Page FISA applications.

In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.

That could be pretty uncomfortable now for Obama, H. Clinton, Comey and other deep state members.. :D

They lost, and they're still living in denial.

None of this matters; it's just obstructionism. The kindergarteners refuse to be quiet for nap time, in hopes they won't have to do writing practice, even though everybody knows it's not going to work.

It's the same people who said Hillary was a shoe-in, and the same fools who believed them then. It would be funny, if it werent so tragic and pathetic. They could be rebuilding their credibility; instead they are driving nail after nail into it's coffin with pile upon pile of almost Soviet-sounding propaganda and Orwellian doubleThink insanity, all while claiming to be victims of the insanity of not being on their bandwagon of batshit.

Man suspected of killing California homeless men with a baseball bat was deported six times, police say

Mid '90s, eh. That was when a crew led by a Salvadoran national (as told to me by an HPD Major Crimes Officer) kicked down our front door early on a Sunday morning and took everything portable of value. They had a good business plan. They went to the flea market to sell it all later that day.

I'd let the Mexicans in joyfully, if they had a way to get rid of the Democrats.

Fantastic! Only commies like you and big industrialists like artificial prices on goods and services. That will bring the US manufactured goods closer in price to the slave labor prices of the Chinese.

And as an added bonus, maybe this will put Walmart out of business.

Artificial? You can argue whichever way you like about the merits of trade policy, but generally the more the government interferes in the free market (i.e. by erecting trade barriers), the more "artificial" the price is considered.

I would wager that the moment the Chinese and Europeans dropped THEIR large tariffs on US goods, the US would drop their much lower tariffs. The US is not the bad guy here. Even with all their protestations, the above mentioned trading partners have much more regressive trade policies than the US.
