Hopefully it'll get forked into a non-pc limp version.

I can avoid Django, but I need Python.

Also, they suggested 'follower/leader', but 'leader' translates to 'Führer' and that makes me feel really uncomfortable.
I suggest 'equal entity' and 'more equal entity'. Thanks for your consideration.

The only Go program I use is GoBuster, and only because it's faster than Dirb.

Python I use all the time.

Not a mechanic eh? The master cylinder can/must (in some circumstances) be bled too

Seriously tho, "I use python all the time" is not much of an argument, is it. You do until you don't.
I think that topic came up here a while ago, but I think one of Go's big selling point is that to the programmer it feels like a scripting language (with sane interfaces, mind you) while it produces native binaries. Add that Go is great for multithreaded stuff, while Python probably won't ever get rid of it's GIL.
So yeah, despite looking like backwards-C, I think Go will replace Python, Java and thelike in the long term.

I'm not a programmer, I'm a pentester. Python is an absolute necessity,

I'll check out Go, as I do respect your opinion.

Well I guess your language of choice mostly hinges on the available frameworks/libraries then, no?

Interesting. What about for data analysis type of applications? With python, I can start with a Jupyter notebook, and mess around with data by hand, making plots as I go. Then when I understand what I need, I can quickly copy the code over to a stand-along program. If I want to distribute it, I can make an executable. I don't see that workflow being practical in a compiled language.

Not a professional mechanic, but the clutch and brake systems I've bled all had the master sitting higher so while technically the whole system is bled, the fluid comes out on the slave side. I could have worded it differently, but that would have lessened my attempt at humor.

https://youtu.be/ytEkHepK08c is a nice overview with a handful of examples.
Other than that the Go homepage (https://golang.org/doc/) has plenty of good docs.

Just start your next small, prototyping, or incremental project in it. The rest will follow, including getting off your dead ass to identify introductory references.
