Hi,
I'm trying to get up and running the DS4 controller in Steam. Following the wiki,
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Sony_DualShock#DualShock_4
I'm able to pair the device, and everything seems nice, meaning
- can see the battery level
- it's shown in Plasma
- running
and pushing buttons afterwards prints garbage on the screen.
However, inside Steam, the controller is not recognized. Any clue? I installed Steam through the "steam-overlay", and the controller works like a charm via USB.

Enable PS4 controller in settings->controller

Hi there,
sorry for the delay.
I take it you mean
Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings -> Playstation Configuration Support
right?
I had already done that, and I see (in the same screen) the message
| Code: | | No controllers detected |
However, I tried some games and it's working  (for the record, I think I had tried this before)
...anyway, thanks!!

Thats strange, it should detect easily.
Add yourself to plugdev group.
