|
|
Hi,
not sure whether this is the right forum to ask:
Why does GRASS ask for a development package?
GRASS comes with an extension manager built in, that downloads, and somtimes compiles the required extension.
(at least in) sci-geosciences/grass-7.4.0 this fails with
Quote: | ERROR: Please install GRASS development package |
all headers are installed, though the grass.pc file seems all wrong. I tried fixing it, but have no experience with pkg-config and might have missed updating some cache.
I opened a bug report also.
Can anyone point me to understanding how to fix this?
Thank you for your time,
Dom

Moved from Unsupported Software to Other Things Gentoo, given that it is in gentoo.git.
Just to note for people finding this here first, per the bug report, a pending version bump might resolve it. |
