Computer is an Intel NUC8i7HVK.

Problem is that when I boot the kernel via UEFI, it arrives at the point where it asks for the pass-phrase. The SSD is LUKS with LVM2 volumes inside. I have several machines with this same setup and they all work, LUKS w/ LVM2.

However, this one acts like there's no keyboard. If my kernel were misconfigured in some way, I'd expect there to be crash messages of some sort like I'm used to seeing with a misconfig. But here it's just waiting for a pass-phrase w/ a few additional messages.

When mounted via systemrescuecd, I have emerged xf86-input-evdev. The keyboard is a SIIG USB mini multimedia keyboard.

Console boot messages shown here.

Anyone have thoughts?

USB keyboard drivers enabled? Might need those in kernel, not modules.
