So I used the network manager in the systemrecurecd graphical environment. I did this because when setting up the network it asked for a wep key.

Anyway now that I am rebooted and logged into my fresh installation I want to connect to my WPA2 network. What's the best way to do this.

Solved :) had to setup wpa_supplicant
