|
|
Hi all,
On Ubuntu MATE distributions, one sees a nice integration of the deja-dup backup with the caja file browser, with a Restore/Backup context menu available on each file/dir entry. It appears to be provided by a deja-dup-caja package in Ubuntu repos. I am exploring a few backup solutions, and with deja-dup, it would be nice to have this context menu in Gentoo. Needless to say, it doesn't exist today. Is there a suggestion? deja-dup doesn't have it's own file picker dialog for restoration, and it relies on file browser exclusively for this. Also, I'd rather not install nautilus just for this purpose. Any help appreciated. If I can't get this to work, I'll go back to my old and trusty rsnapshot.
Thanks,
Jhaanti |

Looks like someone will have to write an ebuild, I don't see one in overlays. _________________

Thanks, I'll try to play with it, and see if I make some progress. If I manage to get it working, I'll post the ebuild. |
