I'm new to Gentoo. My first install went flawless, but now I'm stuck on trying to install the sway window manager. All dependencies installed without a problem, but I cannot emerge sway.

I really haven't got a clue what the problem exactly is, so I hope y'all can give me some pointers.

Output of emerge --info '=dev-libs/sway-0.15.2::gentoo': https://pastebin.com/dkhNiV9y
Complete build log: https://pastebin.com/rsyPL0bA
Output of emerge -pqv '=dev-libs/sway-0.15.2::gentoo': https://pastebin.com/9cgUTzY4

I emerged eudev since I thought that would fix it.
It's sys-fs/eudev-3.2.5::gentoo with USE="hwdb kmod static-libs -introspection -rule-generator (-selinux) -test".

It may be one of those issues you get when installing unstable packages in a stable system. Also, although 32 bit is officially supported it gets much less testing because very few are using it nowadays.

Is sway still that unstable? I found a post on reddit from two years ago by someone who had no problem running sway on Gentoo.
I could still install i3, but wayland is supposedly much lighter on resources on older hardware.

It may not be unstable, it just does not belong to the same branch as the rest of your system. I've to say 'unstable' is a misleading term indeed.
