Come back for hardened source

Hello, today when i look on archlinux, i see archlinux have hardened kernel package. And when i go to developer website, i found that :

Do you think is it possible this package is going to come again ?

I think that's an unofficial, personal fork and probably won't hit the portage tree, at least by the kernel team due to that.
