|
|
Is there a way of preventing the QupZilla browser from leaking the ip in gentoo? This is an easy task in all other browsers that I have tried (firefox, chrome, chromium and vivaldi) but I just can't find a way in qupzilla. I found out this thread and also this one in github, but whatever they are discussing there is way beyond my reach. Thank you all. |

the privacy badger extension is able to do that, however it's only available for chrom(e/ium), firefox or opera and as a side effect it may degrade web conferencing apps performance like hangout, therefore it's disabled by default... |

Which QupZilla version with which QtWebEngine version?
Assuming 2.2.5 and 5.9.4, you might try '--force-webrtc-ip-handling-policy=default_public_interface_only'. No idea if that will do anything though.
With QtWebEngine 5.11 and Falkon, there is an option for it implemented. _________________ Kindest of regardses. |
