Is there a way of preventing the QupZilla browser from leaking the ip in gentoo? This is an easy task in all other browsers that I have tried (firefox, chrome, chromium and vivaldi) but I just can't find a way in qupzilla. I found out this thread and also this one in github, but whatever they are discussing there is way beyond my reach. Thank you all.

the privacy badger extension is able to do that, however it's only available for chrom(e/ium), firefox or opera and as a side effect it may degrade web conferencing apps performance like hangout, therefore it's disabled by default...

Which QupZilla version with which QtWebEngine version?

Assuming 2.2.5 and 5.9.4, you might try '--force-webrtc-ip-handling-policy=default_public_interface_only'. No idea if that will do anything though.

With QtWebEngine 5.11 and Falkon, there is an option for it implemented.
