Not sure this is the right section.
Gparted ran well before I upgraded @world on the 22nd.

All plasma progs were upgraded to 5.12.5 from 5.11.5.
A lot of xproto files were deleted by depclean.
I can provide a list of everything installed at the time if need be.
My locale is set to C.
Any help will be much appreciated.

To install Gentoo I use sysrescuecd.Based on Gentoo,has firefox to browse Gentoo docs and mc to browse (and edit) files.
The same disk can be used for 32 and 64 bit installs.

Is a KDE/Plasma equivalent to GParted. I've used it without issue on a number of systems - mainly to clear space for Gentoo!

| Plasma does not really care about gparted. So you should look at what else got upgraded there... |
