Hi again,

On my desktop PC I use kde-plasma/powerdevil for power management (suspend, hibernate, etc.). This package has, however, a hard dependency on net-misc/networkmanager, which I do not use at all, it's not even included on any runleve, (as well as net-misc/wpa_supplicant, which is pulled by the former). Therefore I wonder has anyone tried to manually clean networkmanager and other packages pulled by it, but still used powerdevil and how it eventually... emerged.

Regards

Why do you think it is a hard dependency?

Right, I was mistaken about it being a hard dependency, but it is still seems impossible for me to emerge powerdevil without networkmanager and related.
