I've read lots of reports of Warframe being able to run on Wine, but I'm getting stuck on the loading screen.
This is what I get: https://imgur.com/a/PnoosGy
If that sentence was complete I would assume that my IP was currently on their "we're getting attacked from here" list, but since it's not, I figure I've got something missing/wrongly configured. |

Have you seen this:
https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/warframe-linux
They say that you need wine-staging version 3.3 or higher (3.5 won't work according to appdb). Sadly, gentoo is still stuck with version 2.21. Have you tried lutris? Might be the easiest way to get you in to the game. |

Yeah, turns out I had missed a few dependecies.
Now the only issue is I don't get any rewards unless I host the mission, which is workable.

Edit:
I forgot to mention that I had to add a "wait for key press" to the end of the launch script. For some reason, on my machine, if the launch script's terminal closes, Warframe doesn't load.
I added it so I could look at the output for errors, and then suddenly it all worked :/ |
