Cannot figure out why Google stopped supporting usb mass storage mode for android. I cannot figure out how to browse and transfer files between my android 7 phone on pc thru usb adaptor, currently it has to go over wifi with kdeconnect but its slow in comparison to usb. |

Should be able to use mtp over usb like a camera (which uses ptp). There are technical reasons why mass-storage is not used. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

Does kdeconnect auto enable this whilst usb inserted? I would rather mount android fs with usb mass storage mount /dev/android-bla /bla/mountpoint but mtp is wierd and requires its own toolset. |

Unfortunately I use neither android nor kde...
I just know that mass storage on my N900 is VERY clunky and for good reason. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
