|
|
Hi there,
I'm using a qtcurve-Theme on my KDE-based system. It works great for KDE and GTK2, but not in GTK3 apps.
In Systemsettings I can choose: Appearance of applications -> GTK
- GTK2-design: QtCurve | Raleigh
- GTK3-design: Default | Emacs
The GTK3-design looks quite ugly.
Installed of qtcurve is only:
Code: | eix -I qtcurve
[I] x11-themes/qtcurve
Available versions: 1.8.14 1.8.17-r1 (~)1.8.18 {+X aqua gtk kde nls +qt4 qt5 windeco}
Installed versions: 1.8.18(22:18:22 01.02.2014)(X gtk kde nls qt4 -aqua -qt5 -windeco)
Homepage: https://github.com/QtCurve/qtcurve
Description: A set of widget styles for Qt and GTK2 |
How do I get GTK3 in there? |

AFAIK GTK3 support got dropped some time ago in qtcurve, because the GTK-maintainers changed the API way too often (sometimes even in a bugfix release), which fed up style designers/developers. |

That was oxygen-gtk... though I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened to this too. Gtk3 is bad. |
