kdenlive: 17.08.3
fri0r-plugins: 1.5.0
Even though I have fri0r-plugins installed

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

when I run kdenlive it complains that it is missing.
This image shows kdenlives configuration wizard complaining about the missing frei0r plugins

That was it. I didn't have the use flag set for frei0r. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction
