Hi, h264, aac, m4a does not work in firefox.
When I go to to https://www.youtube.com/html5
it says H.264 and MSE & H.264 is not supported.
Spotify with m4a sound files does not work too.
I already tried to do a new install of firefox and using a fresh profile and switching to hardware acceleration.
The firefox plugins widevine and openh264 are installed and activated.
This codecs work in my videoplayer mpv!
Please help me.

USE Flags media-video/ffmpeg
and virtual/ffmpeg

Code:
media-video/ffmpeg-9999:0/56.58.58

I think here's your problem. The newest FFMPEG only works with mpv-0.28, but breaks compability with every other program. Try emerging ffmpeg with 55.57.57 compatible ABI, and maybe re-emerge firefox.

Thank you very much! That worked!
Do I have to live without the git version of mpv ? Or is there a way to have ffmpeg-9999 and ffmpeg-3.4.1 installed at the same time ?

Well in theory they are slotted so they should be available to be installed at the same time. But in practice, I really dont know...
