I've been using Gentoo since about 2004, I had used quite a few distros before hand, for about a year.
I fell in love, I've never been tempted away properly, I think I installed Mint a few years ago, but it became a platform for building a proper Gentoo system in very short order.
My original install is the one I'm using to post this, and in my mind it's the same PC, but , rather like Trigger's broom, each piece of hardware has been changed at least 4 times (still the same old case though).

I thought it was about time I showed some love, so to all the devs, the people who maintain the online presence, the users who run ~arch and submit bug reports, the guys here who's names I recognise from my old accounts posts all those years ago (looking at you Neddy!!), the new users that keep asking sensible questions, and the new and old talent that answers them, the guys and gals who write ebuilds for 3rd party repos, everyone who has ever has a positive effect on Gentoo, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ALL!

Team

I'm bound to point out some prior art from 2004.
I had some help finding that thread.

The site hosting the links has gone but the Wayback Machine has them :)

A few names in that list are still active too.

Lastly, thank you for the thanks.
