I am able to get Bluetooth audio to work in mplayer by using Code: | mplayer -ao alsa:device=bluealsa | However, I cannot seem to find any way of getting Firefox to use Bluetooth to play audio. Some documentation seems to suggest that it should be possible to get Firefox to use Bluetooth by setting the ALSA_CARD and ALSA_PCM_CARD environment variables, but I can't figure out what I am supposed to set them to. |

firefox does not support ALSA only anymore, you must use pulseaudio. the good news is that although "unsupported", pulseaudio works fine without consolekit/systemd.

To clarify, I don't have any problems playing audio on my laptop speakers in Firefox. It is just telling Firefox to use Bluetooth that is the problem. |
