How do you make use of this patch? I put the patch in the above path, but I can't complete the build.

Portage should execute this patch automatically, maybe you have another problem.

fedeliallalinea,

Thank you for the patch! This is way out of my knowledge base, but recent "Linux Format"
issues have been out backups and backups due to ransomware issues. Thanks to Neddy Seagoon
I've been giving some thought to doing regular backups of system and personal files, but due to
a lack of knowledge on various necessary applications have been limited to using rsync. It's OK,
but not quite the best for my purposes.

The most recent issue pointed to Deja-dup and Duplicity. Both installed easily on my laptop, which
is running Linux Mint, but deja-dup failed with Gentoo. I'm not quite as concerned about Gentoo
as that is my desktop so replacing drives is easy. My laptop is a MSI. It's a nice machine,
but a thin line and replacing a either drive is not easy. It's a great choice for BricsCAD, but I
should have gone to Dell as drives are easier to replace.

Thanks again.
