Hi
I just tried to emerge media-gfx/gimp-9999 and it fails in configure with:

checking for GLIB - version >= 2.54.2... no

*** exact error that occured. This usually means GLIB is incorrectly installed.
configure: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Missing dep: glib >= 2.54.2
...
Error: GIMP configuration failed.
- Error: missing dependency glib >= 2.54.2
*** Test for GLIB failed

but when I do a emerge -pv glibc I get:
| Code: | * sys-libs/glibc
Latest version available: 2.25-r9 |
which is above 2.54.2
Any ideas anyone?

ok, higher glib seems to be not in portage...
I will downgrade gimp to ~amd64

No ,thanks, I think gimp-2.9.8-r1 should already have all features that I need, not worth to pull a overlay glib version.
