Hello,
Teamviewer seems to provide version for linux but it requires 32 bit libraries:
Code: |
petanb@localhost /opt/teamv/teamviewer $ ./tv-setup checklibs
-=- TeamViewer tar.gz check -=-
In order to use the tar.gz version of TeamViewer,
you have to make sure that the necessary libraries are installed.
NOTE: Most needed libraries are 32 bit libraries, even if you are on a 64 bit system!
Writing raw output to /opt/teamv/teamviewer/logfiles/DependencyCheck32.log
ldd: warning: you do not have execution permission for `/opt/teamv/teamviewer/tv_bin/wine/lib/wine/wininet.dll.so'

Analyzing dependencies (64 bit)...
All 64 bit dependencies seem to be satisfied!
Analyzing dependencies (32 bit)...
libdbus-1.so.3 => not found
libjpeg.so.62 => not found
libpng12.so.0 => not found
The 32 bit libraries listed above seem to be missing.
Please find and install the corresponding packages.
Then, run this command again. |
Did anyone manage to get it working? I tried googling how to compile 32 bit libs in Gentoo, but with little luck, most of docs very extremely unclear on how to actually achieve that. There seem to be multiple project that implement multilib support, one of them emul-linux that has absolutely no documentation, other one being gx86-multilib
Wiki contains only some very brief information describing what the project aims to do, but absolutely no how-to for users how to actually install and use it. Any clues? |

Just curious: why don't you use net-misc/teamviewer provided by Gentoo, and pulling all needed 32 bits dependancies? _________________ Kind regards,

You can't compile it, anyway. |
