Other posts in the same section had at least a reply in the same day, unlike mine which does not have a single reply!
My post is in the Installing Gentoo section called Partitioning with UEFI and Secure Boot enabled. That being said, can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance,
Luís Carneiro

Hi, sometimes it takes some time for someone to reply. In the mean time you can also use the search feature https://forums.gentoo.org/search.php as well as the Wiki https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Main_Page to find an answer.

Here's a link to your post so others can more easily see it:

You have no reply in a thread for many reasons:
- The first one: because none has the answer
- The thread itself: badly made, lack (or way too much and confusion) information
- The subject itself: who has any wish to support secure boot on linux that is an option made against linux? (note that this also generally imply #1, if you have no wish to support something, you will not document yourself about how to implement it)

And you should know that threads can be filter with two primaries lists: by date and if empty, having no answer in a thread mean your thread will remain within the two lists, while having a "hello" in it, will get your thread out of the "empty answer" list.
So it's better to have a thread with "no answer".

Well you can have the opposite also, when you reply with a maybe hint or maybe advise, and than get

moderator mails, which i did not read at all honestly, to write less on this forum
to not generate any unnecessary posts.
or other saying do nt read what i wrote and such.

so there is also some sort of enforcing the politics that some sort of guys are allowed to reply and others not.

agree with the owl, a long term member, secureboot is nuts
