Hi,
I currently run Gnome 3.22.2 (official way, with systemd) and I am thinking to upgrade to 3.24.2. (I would like to use the nextcloud integration in 3.24) What are the reasons why Gnome 3.24.2 is still unstable/masked? Is there any reason not to upgrade?
Will it be sufficient just to autounmask-write package gnome-base/gnome-3.24.2? Will all dependencies automatically be unmasked too?
I wonder why there is so less documentation of gnome versions in https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:GNOME. Gnome 3.26 is already out and there is absolutely no information about its status or integration-roadmap. Is this project so critically understaffed? I would not mind if things take more time in a understaffed situation, but without any information it's hard.
Would it be somehow possible to give always a status information and a roadmap, like even dantrell is doing in his Gnome without systemd project as a one-man-show?
