I have jumped from stable to ~amd64, doing a massive rebuild and now my fonts in the Firefox—and Firefox alone—are all off. There are some dots and vertical bars that shouldn’t be there, kerning is all off etc., as you can see in the pictures linked below. Since it happens only in Firefox, I am at lost at what exactly is wrong.
What I have already tried:
1. Downgrading Firefox.
2. Using firefox-bin instead.
3. Downgrading freetype.
4. Changing freetype settings.
5. Turning hardware acceleration in Firefox off.
6. Substituting fonts using Stylish.
7. Regenerating font cache.
8. Reboots, praying and swearing.
After that, I am out of ideas. What more should I try?

Thank you. I guess I must have missed one reboot after downgrading Freetype… |
