Hi,

First, sorry for my bad english.

On my home server (gentoo with kernel gentoo-sources-4.9.16, without X), I'm used to launch my virtualbox vm by : VBoxHeadless -s myvm. Everything works fine.

Today, I just updated my kernel to gentoo-sources-4.12.12 (make oldconfig etc...), and the same command makes a kernel panic (I don't know how to retreive it to copy here).

To compile virtualbox-modules with 4.12.* kernel, I use patches found in https://bugs.gentoo.org/627822

May be I forgot something in my kernel config, but I can't find what.

Some idea ?

Thanks.

Code:
app-emulation/virtualbox-modules-5.0.40
app-emulation/virtualbox-5.0.40

Without see your errors is impossible to help you.
But why not unmask virtualbox 5.1.24 (or .26) that work fine with kernel 4.12?
