i have this problem in thunderbird on gentoo the general search dosen't works, but on windows it's ok,
i use same version on both systems, may be a USE or i don't know, anybody with this problem?

yes a tried , but dosen't works.
in the other hand i have diferent USE activated and diferent version. don't know may be hardened o system-sqlite or ...

recompile with -system-sqlite. When using system-sqlite we disable the search index as it requires sqlite be built with FTS3 |
