For my Dell Latitude E6430 I need help finding a missing driver for the built-in wireless modem DW5560:

Not really. The »CDC NCM support« ( CONFIG_USB_NET_CDC_NCM ) has already been included.

I put "413c:818e Linux" into a search engine, you could evaluate the results, there are some, like this one.

Thanks for the link. Searching like this of course was/is the first I did. In this case unfortunately it didn't show up the missing driver (but maybe, it isn't really missing).

Did you note the blogger said he had to load modules in certain order to make it work?

Did you mean the lines aound had changed the way the kernel modules load?
To me it's not even clear which of the driver(s) need to be modules
  • cdc_acm
  • cdc_wdm
  • cdc_mbim
Presently I have them all built-in.

Sorry, didn't dig that deep. But there is something, this guy has exactly same card, USB ID is the same.
