|
|
Hello, I just updated my kernel to 4.12.3 and wen i try to use my PS3 controller, the system assignes the position 2 while there are no other PS3 controllers paired, nor any other BT devices.
It might be bug in the hid-sony driver or perhaps bluez missbehaving with newer kernel driver?
If there is a way to make it work properly on newest kernels please let me know.
Cheers
EDIT: On kernels from the 4.11 line all works ok. |

Hmm, it might be because of the individual controller? |

Hello !
Just had the same issue with kernel 4.12.x, the controller would even control my mouse cursor , PS3 controller hooked to USB though.
I "solved" the problem by switching from evdev to libinput (libinput is now default in Gentoo since January 2017 but it requires a manual operation on older installs)
Basically :
Code: |
vim /etc/portage/make.conf |
Quote: |
set INPUT_DEVICES="libinput" |
Code: | emerge --ask --changed-use --deep @world
emerge --ask --depclean
reboot |
Now the controller works properly _________________ Gentoo stable with bits of ~amd64 // Xfce 4.13 + Compiz Reloaded. |
