I got an error to upgrade kodi.
Code:

!!! The ebuild selected to satisfy "media-tv/kodi" has unmet requirements.
- media-tv/kodi-17.2::gentoo USE="X airplay alsa caps cec css dbus java libusb mysql nfs nonfree opengl samba sftp (system-ffmpeg) systemd udev upnp upower vaapi vdpau webserver xslt zeroconf -bluetooth -bluray -debug -dvd -gles (-libressl) -lirc -pulseaudio -test -udisks" ABI_X86="64" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7"

The following REQUIRED_USE flag constraints are unsatisfied:
    udev? ( !libusb )

The above constraints are a subset of the following complete expression:
    python_targets_python2_7 any-of ( gles opengl ) gles? ( X ) opengl? ( X ) udev? ( !libusb ) udisks? ( dbus ) upower? ( dbus )

What's the exact meaning of that?

My emerge --info is
Code:

emerge --info

may be you have to disable libusb USE in kodi :
Code:
$ equery uses kodi
 - - libusb                   : Use virtual/libusb for usb device hotplug support. This flag
should only be enabled if you're running a non-Linux kernel or you
                                don't want to use sys-fs/udev.
+ + udev                     : Use sys-fs/udev rules to handle devices' permissions and hotplug
support. Unless you know what you're doing do not disable this
flag on Linux kernels. This is provided as an option for
                                completeness.

haneulso,

Code:
The following REQUIRED_USE flag constraints are unsatisfied:
    udev? ( !libusb )

Means that if USE=udev is set, then USE=libusb must not be set. The ! means not.

You probably want USE=-libusb for kodi only.
