|I recently installed gentoo with gnome without problem.
Today I notice that animations on windows and menus (like tiling, minimize, etc.)
runs better when I wakeup gentoo by opening the laptop lid.
I can't figure out why this is happening.
It would be nice to get that performance always at first boot and not only after wakeup.
EDIT: Now i found it is related with "power saving" configuration in BIOS. I had a dynamic configuraiton.
I switched to "prefer performance" mode as static configuration and that is all.
However, I don't now why my system was switching between "performance" and "power-saving" modes.
Or I still have an underlying issue with CPU/graphics performance?
