Has anyone gotten this working recently? It needs Jack configured so I've been putting it off. There is no guide specifically for Gentoo, so I was wondering what guide you used to get it working. Thanks for checking it out, i hope someone knows what to do.
After I get this working I"ll be looking for something which can host VSTs and use my midi controller on.
Thanks! |

What are you having trouble with? Just start jack, then start hydrogen, and it should work just fine. _________________

The benefit of jack is you can sync it with a different program. In my case, I use it as a drum machine with ardour. If you just want to create drum beats, continue with ALSA? What is the problem with jack that you have? _________________
