Hey,

ich verstehe die Anleitung aus dem Wiki irgendwie nicht richtig. Nach

Code:
emerge --ask --update --deep --with-bdeps=y --newuse sys-kernel/gentoo-sources


werden mir von

Code:
eselect kernel list


keine neuen kernel zur Auswahl angeboten.

Was ist hier falsch?

Hallo Frink,

das ist Situationsabhängig. Wurde denn ein neuer Kernel heruntergeladen? Je nachdem wann du deine Installation getätigt hast und zuletzt den Emerge-Tree Synchronisiert hast. Ist der letzte Kernel ja noch aktuell.

Damit hängt es wahrscheinlich zusammen.

Der letzte aktuelle Kernel auf den meisten Systemen ist im Moment sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-4.9.6-r1

ja es wurde in der Tat überhaupt kein neuer Kernel heruntergeladen, nachdem ich explizit den neusten Kernel mit

emerge -av =sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-4.9.6-r1


angefordert habe, ging es.
