I need some fairly urgent help. I updated our two front office systems last night and everything is current, but VirtualBox is GONE from the KDE menus on both systems. Running "ksycoca5" does not bring it back. The word "Virtual" is not even in /etc/xdg/menus/kf5applications.menu for some reason. I have reinstalled VirtualBox twice now and no menu entry. Help! We cannot do payroll without Quickbooks! _________________ Ever picture systemd as what runs "The Borg"? |

emerge kde-plasma/kmenuedit (you may have to log out and in again), right-click application menu, edit applications, right click whichever submenu you want -> new item. In the command field add VirtualBox (note the upper cases) |

If I only had a single user this would be cake, but I cannot walk around to each PC each time a user logs in and do this. I need a fix this time, not a band-aid. _________________ Ever picture systemd as what runs "The Borg"? |

I got it working. Due to the fact that new domain users are not getting the contents of /etc/skel, they're not being added to the vboxusers group. Manually adding our staff to the group fixed the issue. _________________ Ever picture systemd as what runs "The Borg"? |
