I've seen this happen to others, but since I'm very new with Linux I cant figure out whats wrong when I try to run genkernel all. After a while I get the message "ERROR Failed to compile the bzImage target"

Here's the bottom part of the genkernel.log

Code:

Thanks, it does seem similar. However, as I mentioned Im very new with this. That user said

by taking CONFIG_BUILD_DOCSRC under "Kernel Hacking" and unchecking it...

Put simply: I have no idea what that means. Do I have to run genkernel --menuconfig all instead in order to fix this...?

Yes, you need to run genkernel --menuconfig all and then in menu you can press the '/' key and search BUILD_DOCSRC for finding the location of this config

I think I found the correct one, if I unchecked correctly (depends on: HEADER_CHECK, was set to y, so I changed that)

Now it seems to get a little bit further but it takes forever. Is there a chance that I messed some stuff up by unchecking that box?

Finally done with that part, it was the same error as mentioned above. Just had to find the correct place to uncheck it
